Welcome Parents! I'm so happy you're taking the time to visit this page. As your child's teacher, it's my goal to help your child learn. I also want to help you help your child.
Research shows that a parent's involvement in their child's education is crucial to helping them be successful in their classes. I believe most parents truly want to help their children, but some don't know exactly how to help. Here are some simple ways you can help your child succeed at school:
Make sure your child gets plenty of sleep each night.
Make sure they eat a nutritious breakfast each morning (include a protein and avoid sugary foods).
Set aside a time and place for your child to complete their homework each night.
Ask to see your child's agenda daily, looking for homework assignments and upcoming tests.
Encourage your child with positive feedback and practical incentives.
Communicate with your child's teachers regularly.
Stay informed of your child's grades by signing up for weekly email notices from PowerSchool. If you need assistance signing up, please let me know by emailing me. I will contact you. Monitoring your child's grades is one of the most effective ways to help your child succeed academically.
